Known well beyond village borders of Fraureuth is the Silbermann organ at the protestant church. Built by the most important representative of organ builders in middle GermanyGottfried Silbermann, the organ was installed in1742 and is one of the best preserved works of the still existing organs by the great master. Concerts take place regularly at the church and are very popular.

The world-famous Fraureuther porcelain was produced at the porcelain 'factory ofRmer und Fdisch Fraureuth'from 1876to 1926. 200 porcelain painters took care of the product's high quality and achieved some official recognition, for example the 1st prize at the world exhibition in Sydney. Some especially valuable exhibits of the Fraureuther porcelain can today be admired at the Werdauer Museum.
